Bennett's enunciation was always one of his hallmarks, and yet it comes so naturally. He doesn't have to make an effort that affects his interpretation of the song, but at the end you know that you have understood every word perfectly. The two of them are brilliant together. So happy they both recognized each other's talents and made their collaboration work well. Reminds me of the unlikely duo of Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé.

People are talking he and Gaga because they were very very good friends, she loved and respected him as a mentor that she owes she career exploding. She said he. Changed her life. He said he loved her voice and found ways to improve it. She literally tattooed his name on her arm. That's why lots of people are posting them together. He did his last show with her, was able to perform and was not afraid of confused and said he could be himself and an inspiration to others that were the same. She helped him do what he loved one last time. She loved him like a father and he loved her like a daughter. That's why they are showing them together. It's not about Lady Gaga it's about a beautiful relationship between 2 fabulous performers who were able to still connect with love through their love of each other through music even with his illness let him have his joy one more time.

Several commenters have noted that Tony is 95 in this vid. So you'll believe what I have to say, a little background. Tony was a headliner from the late 1970s to 1980 at the Las Vegas Sahara Hotel. I was the Associate Director of Publicity, just out of graduate school, 26 years old, and a tremendous fan of Tony's. On a few occasions, we spoke for a while once he found out that I had minored in 18th C art and architecture. He was a painter as many of you know. But to the heart of things: One night we were in the hotel restaurant after his midnight show, and I asked Tony how he kept his voice in top condition. Amazingly, at least for me with someone so accomplished as Tony, he said that he had a weekly session with his voice coach in L.A. A voice coach !!! Then, I learned that his breathing technique, using his chest muscles, and modulating his tone all contributed to the sound that we all love. The high notes, the soft touches, and the signature belting out at the end of tunes and holding the note for so long . . . all because he remained humble and took voice lessons each week. A great lesson to aspiring singers out there. Anyway, I left Las Vegas around 1983, and went back to New York. Worked for a few years on Madison Avenue, then quit and became a professor. I don't miss Las Vegas but I DO miss Tony as we all do and all the world does.

I don't need to tell people about my connections with celebrities to make myself seem important to others. My job was advising so many celebrities, performers, and sports stars as a publicity agent in LA and Las Vegas. Sinatra, Bennet, Carlin, Rickles, Jerry Lewis (and his Telethon from the Sahara), Charo, Toti, Jack Jones, Wayne Newton, Joel Gray, 4 Tops, Mohammed Ali and later Holmes, World Cup in USA, US Open. Also was the single only person to create America's first anti drug abuse program with the Carter White House using celebrities in PSAs. Hey Pal....They knew me.....Rather than I knew them.

The song I've got you under My skin by Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett it's simply very beautiful as a duet together Lady Gaga shows us such maturity and professionalism especially being with Tony Bennett of all the great and him having Alzheimer's this is really very hard felt because she's doing such a humanitarian act of love to a colleague that's in the business and that's for Tony I remember when I first saw Tony years ago and then album cover and he looks just like he did back in the day and he seems very happy the entertainer that he is always been very relaxed and comfortable because this is the type of music that he walked under and worked with so I want to say he's having a blast of a Time because we really don't know what's going on inside I do know that they're still doing a lot autism and dementia. It's just such lovely in such a very beautiful thing to say with these two together Lady Gaga I will say thank you my bottom of your heart for doing what you're doing with a fellow entertainer you're 35 years old he's 95 years old and you could have said no the whole situation but no you did not and I know step inside is prevalent has to feel like a totally different person something that the doctors have not been able to even understand for themselves as of yet the best to say he's proving it at this time. Much peace and love to the both of you you would definitely being watched for the lovely performances that you were able to put together and to deliver to us your fans and this is something that will never forget. Take it All in Mr Bennett because you're doing such a beautiful job you look just like you did back in the day much love to you as well 💕💕💕💕💕 with the two of you please keep on keeping on such a beautiful lovely beautiful sight to see the two beautiful people that are definitely. So MANY swinging, jazz singers from 20-80 years of age, are very jealous:) Lady Gaga was gifted with this privilege. I rewatched this for about the hundredth time last night (seriously) and today we get word that the Legend, Tony Bennet, has passed. Gaga is gonna be crushed, as we all are. Such an amazing duet. Cheers, Tony. And thanks for everything.

I would love to have a friendship like this. Doesn't matter about age or beliefs, just love, and respect for each other and music.
